Parent Teacher Conferences

Monday, October 27th from 4:00 pm-7:30 pm 

Wednesday October 29th from 4:00 pm-7:30 PM 

Parent Teacher Conference Tips:

-Come a few minutes early (Conferences are only 15 minutes, so if you arrive late it could go into another conference.)

-Think about some questions you would like to ask your child's teacher 

  Examples: What is my child's Reading Level? Do you have concerns about my 

  child's Math?  What can I do at home to help? (Your child's teacher can give you   some things your child can practice at home.) 

-If you cannot make it to the conference send your child's teacher an email, so the conference can be rescheduled. 

Long Red Ribbon Week: October 27th-30th

This week Long Elementary celebrates being "Drug Free"! Celebrate with us! Each day the students get to wear something fun to show we are proud to be DRUG FREE!!

Monday, October 27th: Red Day 

-Students wear RED 

Tuesday, October 28th: Put a Cap on Drugs 

-Students wear hats 

Wednesday, October 29th: Turn Your Back on Drugs 

-Students wear their shirts backwards 

Thursday, October 30th: Sock It To Drugs 

-Students wear unmatching socks

Half Day Tomorrow

-Dismissal at 11:50am 

-Students wear comfortable clothes 

-Bring $1 for Ice Cream 

Half Day Dismissal, Friday, October 17th

Students will be getting out of school at 11:50 AM on Friday, October 17th (this Friday). 

Students can wear comfortable clothes. Students can also bring in $1.00 so they can buy an Ice Cream. 

Students WILL NOT be eating lunch at school.
