Watermelon Fun
First, we tried watermelon. We used adjectives to describe the watermelon. Adjectives help to make our sentences exciting. Some students thought it was tasty, but others thought is was sour. We made a list of adjectives.
It was a yummy and fun day!!
We took some Watermelon Selfies! Fun!
Then we interviewed friends to see if they liked watermelons. We practiced using polite words to ask our questions. "May I ask you a question?"

Sharing our Advice and Opinions
In writing, we are working on finding problems around our school and thinking of ways we can solve these problems. These students noticed that sometimes the students' violins and cellos were all over the floor, in one area of the school. The students worried that some people may trip over these instruments. These students created signs to give some good opinions on how to make our school a safer place.
