Second Grade Supplies

Back pack.
Primary ***Fiskar scissors.
1 two pocket folder with prongs.
1 package of 24 #2 yellow pencils to share. Highly rec- ommended brands are ***Ticonderoga or Mirado which sharpen better.
Pencil box (no larger than 5 X 8).
Several soft pink erasers. (minimum of 4).
Crayons (no larger than 24 pack).
4 small glue sticks.
1 yellow highlighter.
1 package Post-It notes– any size.
1 box of wide tip ***Expo dry erase markers in blue, red, green and black (Boys)
Clorox wipes. (Girls)
1 large roll of paper towels.

1 large box of Kleenex.
1 pre-washed t-shirt for tie dying. Write child’s name on tag.
Ear buds for iPad and laptop.
*$5.00 for Scholastic News and additional classroom supplies.

It would be appreciated if you could bring supplies to Long School’s Ice Cream Social. Please label with your child’s name.

*Periodical magazines- (ex. Time For Kids and Weekly Reader...) Excellent supplement to our curriculum.

**Paint shirt– Large T-shirts with the sleeves cut out work well. (Kindergarten and 1st Grade only). ***Specified brand names are important as there is a quality difference.
